IN THE LAST GAME:

So there was this young soldier, Jack, who was sent to Russian jungle to retrieve a defecting scientist, but he got his ass kicked by his mentor who defected to the Russians, so he came back a week later to kill her to prove that the nuclear attack on Russian soil wasn't the USA's fault and he killed the electric Russian general and his mentor, who then came back as an AI controlling a gigantic cyborg, but it then drowned itself, so Jack and his team fucked off to an oil rig and then the kid went after the girl he fancied and Jack had to rescue him, but Huey fucked up and the rig was attacked by some other guys and Jack fell into a coma but woke up and had another guy take his place and basically be a huge decoy while he built a nation of soldiers, and then David, who was Jack's clone son, killed the decoy guy and then Jack himself and fucked off to Alaska, but then some other guys who used to be in the same unit as David took over an island and threatened a nuclear strike if they don't get a whole lot of money and Jack's corpse and David had to go in and fix the situation but he was played like a fiddle by the hot doctor who hated him for killing her brother who was alive after all, and then some other guy also named Jack couldn't remember what was so special about the 30th of April and his girlfriend got angry at him for it, but she wasn't really there, expect later she was and they had a son named Little John (because another Jack would be confusing at this point) and when the Russian cowboy went off the rails and started killing everyone by pointing at them, David, who was now super old, had to go in and stop him, and it turned out that his clone brother wasn't really the hand and they saved the world from the guys who were long dead, except not quite, and one of the Jacks then killed the ancient dude in a wheelchair who peed himself first and then everything was fine with the world, until a bunch of cyborgs started fucking shit up and the other Jack had to go in and cut them all to tiny pieces.
