September 14th, 2024 Shabbat-Ki Tetze (Israel obtains a wife as a shadow of Messiah)

In this portion, in the first verses, we read about while Israel being at war, if a man were to fall in love with a captive woman, she is to get an unusual treatment to become that soldier's wife. This treatment teaches us how our salvation through believing in Y'shua (Jesus) the Messiah is also our betrothal to Messiah and teaches us about what we let God do with us to prepare us for the wedding and the wedding supper.
