OP2409-06-6
Intelligence staff for 1st Battalion, Chernarus 17th Separate Light Rifle Brigade, detected a massing of separatist troops in northern Bekatov, and subsequently found out through electronic intercepts and reports from local agents, these troops were planning an attack on Collective Farm 19.

According to reports, the enemy operation was intended to reinforce enemy light forces already deployed to the river including patrols and and units known to be patrolling around the village of Armanikha. Operations staff for 1st Battalion assembled a light infantry task force and ordered them to Collective Farm 19.

Armanikha was patrolled by Russian militia units, so Command Squad, which also doubles as the task force's assault element, attacked and cleared those forces, enabling the task force to move through the village to Collective Farm 19.

The tactical plan for the defense of Collective Farm 19 was for all four light rifle squads to dismount and deploy along the northern edge of the farm. One BRDM scout car and two BRDM AT vehicles were deployed along the road to the west. Experience has shown that this was the most likely avenue of ingress for technicals and light wheeled armor. Scout 2 BRDM was deployed south of the farm.

The task force commander upon completion of the deployment decided to launch several artillery attacks upon the crossroads immediately to the north of the farm. While those strikes were landing, Wagner Group operators were attacking 3rd Squad, which managed to stop the Wagner Group operators by forcing them back.

Command Squad, deployed along the central zone of the farm was attacked by Spanish regulars and special operations troops. The Spanish regulars were driven back after a brief firefight. specops were pinned down in fire by Command Squad and 4th Squad counterfire.

Meantime in the west, several attacks using light armor and techicals were pressed against 2nd Squad and the BRDMs defending along the road. Many of those attacks were stopped with the enemy vehicles destroyed. The enemy also attacked using drones, all of which were shot down.

Knowing that the separatists had infiltrated to the south and were likely blocking any regressive movement back to base, Command Squad launched a counterattack to the South, eliminating enemy infiltrators. Command Squad then moved into the area to the west, destroying several enemy vehicles using 40 mm grenades and RPG rocket fire.

Battalion command staff deemed the operation complete and the separatist attack on the collective farm smashed, and ordered the task force to return to base. But the Commander discovered that three of the four transport vehicles were disabled, forcing three of the four rifle squads to retreat by foot.

Losses were moderate. Command Squad lost two. 2nd Squad lost four. 3rd Squad lost four. 4th Squad lost five. Scout 1 BRDM and AT Vehicle 1 was destroyed.

Field counts of enemy losses included five UAVs, five technicals, and two MRAPs.

Battalion intelligence staff indicated that the separatists would be unable to attempt further offensive operations for at least a month because of the great damage inflicted in this operation.
