The Museo Nacional del Prado and the Association of Flamenco Shows in Madrid have joined forces to celebrate World Tourism Day, 27 September, in an event in which great stars of flamenco and Spanish dance such as Antonio Najarro (artistic direction and castanet playing), Manuel Liñán, Olga Pericet, Eduardo Guerrero and Jesús Carmona (flamenco dancing), Cristina Cazorla (bolero school) and María Mezcle (flamenco singing) converse with the masterpieces that welcome visitors to the exhibition “Reencuentro”.
Thus, the Museo del Prado and flamenco, declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2010, join forces in defence of culture as a link between peoples that transcends all borders.
