Murdered marathoner could not outrun domestic violence

Olympic athlete Rebecca Cheptegei sought out the police to protect her from an ex-boyfriend, her family says. Now, they blame the police for failing to prevent the attack that ended her life in what they say is yet another case of elite female runners murdered by their partners.
