(Full Gameplay) Mossroot [1080p] - No Commentary

An animal Turn-Based RPG.

Another RPG has reached being another favorite game this year. The story of @PikachaoArt is another one that reminds me of @heartfrog5941 and @kbojisoft2461 . The collection of these developers grow. Now the similarities, they have minimal fanbases (subscriber count and X following being less than 1,000), stopped updating their channels after their first game. Alright, so I love strategy games. Mossroot is an interesting one. We have Turn-based RPG and Rougelite. The story is simple but has a lot of depth with Sersha and Madeline being the main characters. The tutorial is great at telling you how to play the game and recruit your first character, Oran. Along with all the special moves you can do in a turn. I love how each character has a unique passive and special. Overall without these, they would be the same. So with these, you have a unique catalog. The most interesting character out of all of them has to be Conor. Since we all can relate to him, Am I Right?! I find him the most interesting because of the difficulty of many stories to create a good coward. Conor fits in this situation. He stutters and has a lack of confidence in himself makes him the interesting character. However even before you recruit him, he deals a lot of damage.

While playing this, it's pretty clear that range is a must. Even characters with swords getting runes for range is something you need to win. Another great perk is the Radius rune. Here was my order of preference.
1. Radius.
2. Range.
3. Heath

Now onto the best by personal experience.
1. Quinn (the special especially if you can get a radius on it.)
2. Madeline (Healing is a must in this game.)
3. Saria (if Madeline isn't available anymore)
4. Conor (The Special and passive are the best in the game)
5. Reid (The attack is great since it starts with a Radius and the special being a must against the final boss.)
6. Oran (Great first character do to the range and special being overpowered.)
7. William (Best character when against both weak characters and strong when combined with Rudolph and Sersha, but can be good without other armor suppliers.
8. Sersha (great first character and has a great passive and special since Armor is always recovered at the first turn and the special with radius damage.)
9. Rudolph (A great damage dealer, but the passive is lackluster and the special is semi alright with a radius on it.)
10. Maeve (A alright damage dealer, the passive is lackluster and the special I rarely use since I heal my units already.)
11. Barry (Barry is really underwhelming, especially since you have to farm 1000 gold to get him. I barely notice his passive since only really at the beginning of the game is his passive useful, but Conor is significantly better. The special is his benefit, and its is pretty underwhelming.

Now some issues, first has to be the frame rate when you quickly shift characters, you see the frame rate go significantly down. I demonstrated this at 10:24:23. Next is Quinn, when talking to him to unlock him, the first time is fine. But then you talk to him again, now you unlock him twice. this can repeat and goes away once you leave the game. Lastly is the problem with Poison. This is overused and too powerful. That's why I avoid the cave entirely.

Graphics 5/5: This game look really good and each character is unique.
Playability 5/5: It is simple and basic to understand and a perfect tutorial.
Music 2/5: I am surprised at this, the music isn't good honestly. It is too unnatural. It's a heavy blunder to this game.
Difficulty 3/5: The game is hard, and the overuse of poison adds to it.
Personal 5/5: I love this game, its great and I can't wait to complete the hard mode.
