Living everyday means just that, "living every day" and sometimes that life takes a turn. I'm lucky. This turn hasn't been as dramatic as with some people I've known.

I have a friend who was walking across a pool one day and cut his toe. Next thing he knew they were amputating his leg below the knee. I say "next thing he knew," when it was really next thing I knew. He lived every day from that moment to today, (he still lives.) But for me, time just skipped.

This week, you may have noticed We've been treating and repairing an injury. We talk about it daily. You're certainly welcome to listen in to these messages I'm sending my future self. But also, when I'm figuring out mysteries I like to do so out loud. I don't know what appears more insane; walking around town talking to myself out loud, or talking to myself via my mobile device? With the device, at least I have a recording of what I'm saying.

Today, just about a week away from Autumn, we being a new Sunday Thang. You'll catch what it's all about when you watch.

One of the programs running in the background of my simulation has been "life enhancement." It was out front for a long time, then it faded into the background. We didn't stop enhancing the life. It's like riding a bike or becoming proficient at a sport. It becomes a part of you so you don't have to practice it as overtly as you did when you were starting out.

We can do better. We can always add another zero to the string and up the enhancement by at least 10%. In order to do that we have to take a critical and honest look at where we are on the board and where we want to be, and why we want to be there. We already have the theme in mind for our next year. We'll share that in about 30 days or less. Back to Life Enhancement. The question is, "How can we enhance our life?" But there's a caveat. We seek life enhancement without taking anything away from where we are. For example, you have a pretty good life. You do what you want when you want, but you want to level up. What does that take? The bait is, 'get more training for a higher income.' People only see the prospect of a higher income, and ignore the loss of free time, expense & certain aggravation and anxiety (training always requires tests & competition) that this requires. Remember, you're starting at 90%. To go from 90% to maybe 95%, focusing on greater income, you may have to drop to 75% or even lower. And there's no guarantee that the climb back will yield you that extra 5%.

I have a friend, very good at his gig, but he wanted to do something else. He went back to school for many years, and when he got his degree, he realized that he couldn't earn as much with that new degree as he was earning at the gig in which he was already established. He still has the original gig, and has been given more responsibilities and of course higher income. Higher income usually, eventually results in an enhanced lifestyle.
