Unboxing Meta Quest 3 Color Head Strap

So when the meta quest 3 was released back in 2023, I was really excited by the new line up of Quest 3 accessories that Meta launched along with the headset, including the meta quest 3 blue head strap.

Me being me, I HAD to purchase the Meta Quest 3 color head strap when I bought the Quest 3, so how could I not end up making an unboxing video about haha.

Now, although the Meta Quest 3 delivered in terms of taking my virtual reality experience to the next level, the design of the standard Meta Quest 3 headstrap that comes with the device was ultimately a let down for me in terms of comfort and as you can guess, so was the blue headstrap I bought with it…

Which is unfortunate, but in hindsight I probably should have waited to try the Quest 3 first before making the impulse decision to buy the color strap as I ended up purchasing the Meta Quest 3 elite strap in the end anyway which has ended up in my Meta Quest 3 top accessories list on Amazon haha.

In summary, I’m not overly certain whether the standard strap on the Meta Quest 3 is a poor design or if it’s just my head is a poor match, but I would really only recommend getting this color headstrap if you already have a Quest 3 and don’t personally have any issues with the fit.

That’s just my honest 2 cents on the matter.
