Texas Hotel Temporarily Shut Down Following Tren de Aragua Takeover

As the immigration crisis in the U S was brought front and center at Tuesday’s presidential debate,
a hotel in Texas is being forced to temporarily close its doors following it being taken over by the deadly
Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (T d A).

This week,
District Court Judge Maria Salas-Mendoza issued a 90-day injunction,
which will permit the El Paso County Attorney’s Office to close The Gateway Hotel because of continuous criminal activity
at the establishment.
