Apostle Paul introduces us to the Father's purpose and destiny for the body of Christ and plan to exalt His Son as preeminent ruler over heaven and earth.
We often find the Son more approachable than the Father, of whom we have holy fear and respect, but the Father loves us just as much.
It is essential to know that both the body of Christ (boC) and the dispensation of grace began in Acts 9 with the salvation of Saul of Tarsus (Paul) on the road to Damascus.
Jesus Christ is our Saviour but He mad Paul our apostle.
Apostle Paul salutes the Ephesians and any other believer who reads this letter.
Paul had probably heard about the new believers in Ephesus from Tychicus.
The growth of the body of Christ was exceedingly encouraging to Paul.
After an outflow of praise for our spiritual possessions (1-14), Paul prays for our spiritual enlightenment to understand the mystery our formation and place in heaven (15-23).
