This alternate self, originating from a darker place, seeks to lead us astray with its deceptive guidance and lure us into becoming something we're not. It's a trap, gradually building us up as false gods, only to shatter our illusions in the end. This alternate force, though challenging to name, wishes to deceive us throughout our lives, coaxing and tempting us onto its path.
Alan passionately declares that even though he has many options, he still wants to choose God. He is determined to choose good principles, morals, virtues, and values.
