In this episode, my co-host Jordan Soto and I sit down with Richard S. De Witt, a man whose extraordinary life has been shaped by success in business, dedicated military
service, and unwavering faith. For more than 30 years, Richard led Jack Frost De Witt
Food Brokers, Inc., while simultaneously serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air
Force Reserve, commanding over 1,100 personnel. Alongside his business and military
careers, Richard and his wife Marvel have endured profound personal loss, including
the tragic deaths of both of their children. Through it all, their faith and dedication to
serving others have remained central. After selling his business, Richard answered a calling into full-time ministry, eventually becoming the Executive President and COO of Marketplace Ministries, leading over 2,800 chaplains across six countries. In this heartfelt conversation, we dive into his leadership philosophy, how faith sustained him through tragedy, and his commitment to impacting lives for eternity. Don’t miss this inspiring story of resilience, leadership, and service to others. Tune in to hear about how Richard’s journey continues to inspire at the age of 79, as he balances his roles as a veteran, minister, speaker, and loving grandfather.
