Today marks Day 217 of my sobriety journey, and I'm reflecting on something personal—turning 45 in just a few months. It's strange because I don't feel 45, and maybe it's because I spent much of my youth caught up in drugs, crime, and chaos. But now, every year that passes feels like a gift. Still, it's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that in five years, I'll be 50. Despite all of this, I genuinely appreciate growing older, especially as my life has transformed in sobriety.
