Danger on Wheels is a 1940 American film noir sport film directed by Christy Cabanne and starring Richard Arlen and Andy Devine.

SYNOPSIS
Lucky Taylor, a daring stunt driver, finds himself at the center of controversy when an experimental oil-fueled engine he's testing causes a race car to explode, tragically killing the driver. Though initially blamed, Lucky is eventually cleared of any wrongdoing. Believing in the potential of the innovative engine, he becomes determined to prove its worth despite the racing association's ban following the accident. With the help of a clever scheme, Lucky secretly enters a car equipped with the banned engine into an upcoming race, all while keeping his plans hidden from both race officials and the spirited daughter of the engine's inventor, who is skeptical of his motives. As tensions rise on and off the track, Lucky races not just for victory, but to redeem the engine's reputation and win the heart of the woman he loves.
