"I'm a ghost living in my purgatory." Gravitas has revealed an official trailer for a movie called Tomorrow Before After, a post-apocalyptic one-woman-alone survival thriller from filmmaker Alfonso Quijada. This is skipping theaters and will open on VOD directly in late August before the end of the summer. Colombian actress Natalia Reyes (seen in Running with the Devil and Terminator: Dark Fate) stars in the one-and-only role, along with a doggie named Lobo (which translates to "Wolf" in Spanish), played by a pooch named Blake. In a post-apocalyptic world, a young woman, with the help of an abandoned dog searches for other survivors while trying to cope with an unborn child growing inside of her. She wonders: how could she be pregnant? What does it all mean? Is this a post-apocalyptic version of the story of Mary? Or is it something else? This footage doesn't look bad, and the dog seems legit, just hope there's something more to this script.

Here's the official trailer (+ two posters) for Alfonso Quijada's Tomorrow Before After, from YouTube:

In a post-apocalyptic world, a woman (Natalia Reyes) searches for any other survivors, only to find utter destruction, desolation and no living entities. In a little old cabin in the middle of a forest next to a river, the woman hides from the unknowns of this eerie & destroyed world. After months of looking for other survivors, the woman is faced with the possibility that she could be the last human on earth. Soon after, to her absolute surprise, it becomes evident that she is pregnant. Questioning how this could be possible, she begins to lose grip of reality. After coming to terms with her pregnancy, she encounters an abandoned dog; initially skittish, it runs away but little by little they develop a formidable friendship. Together they will embark on a search for other survivors, however, along the way they will face challenges that will question her very existence. Tomorrow Before After is both written and directed by international producer / filmmaker Alfonso Quijada, director of the film The Whisper of Silence previously. Produced by Chad Barager, Ian Ihnatowycz, Alfonso Quijada, and Diego F. Ramírez. The film already opened in Colombia first last year, but hasn't premiered anywhere else, as far as we know. Gravitas Ventures will debut Quijada's film Tomorrow Before After direct-to-VOD starting on August 20th, 2024 this summer. Who wants to watch?
Natalia Reyes (Terminator: Dark Fate, Birds of Passage) has signed on to star in Tomorrow Before After, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller that is scheduled to start shooting this month in Colombia.

The film, from writer/director Alfonso Quijada (El Suspiro del Silencio), centers on a woman with no name (played by Reyes) who struggles to survive on her own in a post-apocalyptic world, searching for others, with only a stray dog by her side.

In her quest, she collides with a world that is collapsed and utterly destroyed, and it seems, for a long time, that she is the only survivor in the world—until she discovers one day that she is pregnant. Not understanding how this could be possible, she then begins to question her own existence.

Chad Barager and Ian Ihnatowycz (Bitter Harvest, The Inheritance) are producing Tomorrow Before After through Barager’s Apollo Pictures and Ihnatowycz’s First Generation Capital. Also on board in this capacity is Diego Ramirez, of Colombian production house 64-A Films.
