GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR FRIENDS!!!

You know guys, I am still learning what it means to honor the Sabbath, and what the Sabbath truly means, even at 54, and today was no different. I really loved what I read out of this morning scripture, on how we are to honor the Sabbath as not only a time of worship, but also of rest period of time to recharge ourselves physically, emotionally, and yes most of all spiritually. I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional, are really tugging at my heart, and challenging my notions of what it means to have a Sabbath. What worship means, as well as the importance of making sure I get rest in my life. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God will challenge your heart to them as He is challenging mine.

What tempts you to skip rest?

How can taking time to rest draw you closer to God?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that I've been learning on this issue, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you helps you to see just what the Sabbath truly means, and how you can honor God through not only worship, but in resting relaxing and remembering all the wonderful things that God has done, is doing, and will continue to do for you. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and see just what I mean! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you see how important it is to take the time to relax, rest, and allow God to recharge you each day. Take some time out each day, to just relax and not do anything. Go outside and take time to enjoy God's creation, get your family together, and if it's warm enough, go to a park and have a cookout/picnic. Whatever you choose to do to relax, go for it, because it will be one of the best things that you can do. Above all, ask God to show you ways in which you can not only physically and spiritually recharge yourself, but to take that time for that needed “retrieval practice” to intentionally decide to stop and remember all the awesome things that God has done for you, and to never forget his benefits (Psalm 102:3).

UNTIL FRIDAY:

HAVE A TRANQUIL AND BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
