Harris' performance, full of rehearsed lines, seemed designed more for the social media crowd than for voters seeking substance. She often attempted to bait Trump with personal digs, but Trump stood firm. As Raheem Kassam noted, Trump displayed "vivid, righteous indignation" as he tackled the failures of the current administration on economic issues, trade, and immigration.
