Government punishes you for doing what they ask.

I drive a hybrid vehicle which means I use less gasoline, pollute the atmosphere less, and operate at a reduced cost overall. Well, as I did what the government asked me to do, little did I know that they were ready to stick it to me as a ‘thank you’.

I’m bitching about it and you should too.
