Grand Theft Auto V | A $2.5 million debt and tampering with tech

GTA V story mode play-through part 2...
After riding around for a bit, I learned that the only side mission you must do to continue on is with Tonya and helping her with the tow truck and picking up a car for impound. Back to the story, Lamar meets up with Franklin to go kidnap a guy named D. This leads to a chase with D on his bike and you in a van. D gets hit by a bus which leads to a foot chase and with the help of Chop (the dog) he gets sniffed out and bite. You get him back in the van, but Lamar blows the cover and you release him. Michael finds Amanda cheating on him with her tennis coach. Franklin helps Michael chase him down and destroy his home which isn't actually his. Now Michael is in debt to Martin Madrazo about $2.5 million. Back at home Michael blows up at Jimmy and ends up forcing him to spend quality time with him, riding bikes down at Vespucci Beach. Jimmy tells Michael his sister Tracey is on a yacht with p*rn film guys. Michael swims out to the yacht to take her home which leads to a chase on jet skis to get away. Michael still needs a way to make money so her calls Lester Crest to help him, but first Lester sends him on a mission to tamper with the new prototype of a Lifeinvader device that Jay Norris will be debuting on TV later that day. When Michael calls the phone he tampered with it blows up and kills Jay Norris on stage at the debut. Now Michael and Lester go out to case a jewelry store to rob, taking phones of the ventilation and alarm system before devising a plan back at Lester's office.
