The Honeymooners (1955-56)

The Honeymooners is a classic American sitcom that originally aired from 1955 to 1956. It starred Jackie Gleason as Ralph Kramden, a blustery, working-class bus driver living in a Brooklyn apartment with his sharp-tongued wife Alice, played by Audrey Meadows. The show also featured their best friends and neighbors, Ed Norton (Art Carney), a sewer worker, and his wife, Trixie (Joyce Randolph).

The series was known for its humour, centered on Ralph's get-rich-quick schemes, his frustrations, and the iconic phrase, "To the moon, Alice!" Despite its short run, The Honeymooners became a beloved piece of American television history and is still regarded as one of the greatest TV shows of all time.
