The fourth individual charged with the murder of XXXTentacion in a June 2018 armed robbery appeared as a witness and provided testimony against his partners in crime. Robert Allen, who had previously entered a guilty plea for second-degree murder and robbery with a firearm before the trial, reluctantly provided a comprehensive account outlining the events that led to the shooting of Jahseh Onfroy. Allen implicated the remaining three co-defendants in the plotting and carrying out of the robbery, asserting that he was on the scene but remained in the vehicle.

In April 2023, Dedrick Williams, Trayvon Newsome, and Michael Boatwright were convicted of First Degree Murder and armed robbery. Dedrick Williams and Trayvon Newsome received life sentences for their involvement in the murder, while Michael Boatwright, identified as the triggerman, was sentenced to two consecutive life terms.

Robert Allen opted for a plea deal and cooperated as a witness against the other three defendants. He pleaded guilty to Second Degree Murder, receiving a 7-year prison sentence, with credit for the 5 years he already spent in jail during the legal proceedings. His expected release is in 2025.
