Kenneth Copeland, also known as Lil Woody, took the stand on Monday morning and had a heated exchange with the state about his knowledge of the YSL RICO case. The state attorney requested that Copeland be marked as a “hostile witness,” to which Copeland asked, “What’s that mean?” During his testimony, Copeland admitted he lied to the police in 2019 to avoid jail, saying he was taught to lie to authorities from a young age. He repeatedly clashed with prosecutor Simone Hylton, confessing that he had made false statements to get the police off his back. At one point, he stated, “Y’all know that I am full of ****,” and suggested he sought revenge against people who had attacked him in the past, all while testifying under oath.
