When you own the S&P 500 you instantly become a shareholder in the military industrial complex, big pharma, the processed & fast food industries, and predatory financial institutions...
This is important because owning shares in companies that support those things is probably 10-100x more supportive to those companies compared to the value of your vote when voting for who the next president should be.
