God Stills the Storms

We just returned from 11 days in Florida… but not for a vacation.

It was more of a storm!!

On Wednesday, August 28, we got the call that my brother needed surgery and needed to move out of his rental house - all at the same time.

So Randy and I loaded up the car and drove down to help—knowing we were heading into a huge storm!

And we asked people to pray. Lots of people!

And.
They.
Did!

Even though our 11 days were busy, crazy, & exhausting - we had the sweetest peace through it all. Great peace!

This morning, I read this verse, “He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves.”
Psalm 107:29

It’s true…

God calms storms and still waves, even if only deep within our hearts.

He did it for us! He can do it for you!

And… Thank you to everyone who prayed, called, texted, and helped!

We are so thankful for you!

(By the way… The rental house is completely clean, the two surgeries went very well, and my brother is feeling better!)
