Russian counteroffensive in Kursk

🔹In the #Kursk region, the Russian Army began counteroffensive operations on the western flank of the enemy penetration, reducing the AFU zone of control near the State Border.🎬👇Units of the 51st Parachute Airborne Regiment and the 155th Marine Brigade, supported by aviation and artillery, successfully advanced at the settlements of #Gordeyevka, #Vneszapnoye, #Viktorovka, #Byakhovo,# Snagost, #Apanasovka, and there were battles for #Viktorovka. At the same time, the enemy remained active over the day in the Sudzhansky district, where counter battles took place at #CherkasskayaKonopelka, #Kamyshevka, #Maryevka and #Borok.

🔹In the #Toretsk (#Dzerzhinsk) area, the RFAF continue offensive operations in #Toretsk itself and in the town of #Kirovo (#Pivnichnoye).

🔹In the #Pokrovsk direction, the Russian Army continues its offensive; in #Grodovka, our troops planted a flag over the Grodovsky Kindergarten and continue assault operations along Kazatskaya Street. The RFAF are bypassing #Ukrainsk from the north, the enemy is forced to transfer elite units (the 1st Presidential Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard) in an attempt to stabilise the front.

🔹In the #SouthDonetsk direction, in honour of the capture of #Krasnogorovka and #Vodyanoye, the Russian Defence Minister sent congratulations to the 5th Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade and the 7th Separate Guards Motorised Rifle Brigade respectively.

💥In #Kherson region, the AFU shelled and attacked #Alyoshki, #GolayaPristan, #Kakhovka, #NovayaKakhovka, #VelikayaLepetikha, #Gornostayevka, #Dnepryany, #Cossack Camps, #Malokakhovka, #NovayaMayachka, #Sagi. Three local residents were wounded in #GolayaPristan: an 84-year-old woman, a 68-year-old man and a 20-year-old young man.

💥In #Donetsk, as a result of the use of barrel artillery by the AFU, a man born in 1969 and a man born in 2011 were wounded.
