First, this is quiet. Less than 30 decibels. That means you can use these generators in places where usually generators are not allowed. You certainly can't use loud gas generators inside. But also, many campsites and even some neighborhoods have certain times you are allowed to run loud gas generators. For example in new york, most of these beautiful campsites have very strict hours you can use your generators. With the River 3 series, you won't have any issues with that, especially if you pick up a nice solar panel with one of these. You can run this generator pretty much anywhere you want. And get free power right from the sun. Throw in a 10 year lifespan on this, you got really great investment.

So let's talk more about the lifespan. The ten year lifespan up to 80 percent basically means that even after ten years of using this every single day +you will still be able to charge the battery up to 80 percent. These new LFP batteries can be run down and recharged in some really brutal conditions over and over and over again. That's what they're made to do and they do it well. People that live out the desert in crazy high temps do the same things to these batteries day after day. It's truly amazing technology.

This can run small appliances up to 600 watts continuous with x-boost, even though it is basically a 300 watt power station. This x-boost can double the wattage coming out of this 245 watt hour power station, which pretty remarkable. Not to mention, the ability to fast charge in just one hour, safely without damaging the battery. Really knocking it out of the park with charging and discharging capability on this. Another power related upgrade is the ability to run devices that only use 100 watts or less for twice as long by managing the power efficiently. Ecoflow has some tricks up its sleeve with the new river 3 for sure.

EcoFlow also set up the River 3 with 20 ms or less UPS. What this means is that you can connect this to very important devices or equipment as a back power supply if the power goes out. This will turn on within 20 ms, and you'll be lucky if you notice. Keep things like security cameras running no matter what, your fish tanks and pet enclosures running to keep your pets safe. The added level of protection is very nice peace of mind. You won't even need to lift a finger to when the power goes out. I can get on board with that.

You can safely charge this 4 different ways, including your car charger, the outlet in your home, solar panels or if you do have a gas generator, you can charge quick for an adventure away from camp with a nice lightweight power pack. For solar charging, this can handle up to 110 watts, so your looking abuot a little over 2 and half hours to full charge. IF you plug it in at your home, it will be fully charged in just one hour. Your car will charge it about 2.8 hours. and your generator will probably completey charge it in just one hour.

This has 2 AC outlets, 2 usb a outputs, and one USB C output port. There is also a DC output, which is nice for all your 12v stuff, like your fridges or little fans and whatnot. A nice thing is there is a button to turn DC ports on and off, and also a button for the AC outlets. Sometimes it's just easier to hit that switch to turn off devices, instead of having to unplug everything. Super helpful if you ahve these in vehicles while traveling. Even in the dark, it's nice and easy to find the switch to turn off the device and manage power well.

There is a nice display screen, which I think EcoFlow is right on point with designing. Always love how the displays are on ecoflow devices.

On the back of the river 3 youll find the AC and the solar in put ports for charging. And it looks like another upgrade here too with covers for these port in the back. Keep all these good innovations coming EcoFlow. I for one appreciate the attenion to detail alot.

This is very good power station for people who ahven't used them before. IT's a smaller investment and gets introduced to having these. I gurentee you'll fall in love. To have power anywhere you go, is well empowering. Thank me later.
