I doubt the Kursk incursion lifted up Ukrainian morale. The common soldier at the Donbas frontlines more likely thought "Omg these idiots signed our fate, now we are left with no reserves, no supplies". Others might have thought " Fine, now we can retreat, and the war might end faster".
