SYNOPSIS
Jimmie, the office boy at the Brownsville Bugle, and Millie, the editor Henshaw's niece, turn amateur detectives to clear a friend accused of murder. They initially suspect a gas station owner, but when he's proven innocent, Henshaw fires Jimmie. Undeterred, Jimmie and Millie then suspect Lawyer Cy Burton. Just as they're about to give up, Millie finds a crucial clue that leads to the hidden fortune of the murdered Mrs. Blake, ultimately solving the case.
