H.R.554 the Taiwan Conflict Deterrence Act Has Been Passed by the House of Representatives

09/09/2024 Congressman French Hill: On Sep 9, the House passed H.R.554 the Taiwan Conflict Deterrence Act, which requires the Treasury Secretary to publish the illicit assets of Beijing's senior-most leaders, including the names of financial institutions and maintaining accounts, if China chooses to impose an embargo, boycott, or launch military action for Taiwan. It will also cut off access to the United States Financial System for those CCP officials and their immediate families.
