Footage has been released showing Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill being dragged from his vehicle by his head and arm during a traffic stop on Sunday, ahead of the NFL season’s opening game. Hill was pulled over after he appeared to be speeding, and in the video, appears to comply with all the officers’ requests, apart from keeping his car window rolled down. The situation begins to escalate when an officer tells Hill to keep the window down or ‘I am going to get you out of the car. As a matter of fact, get out of the car.’ Another officer steps in and threatens to ‘break that f-ing window.’

Hill is then pulled from the car by his head and arm, and was put face-first on the ground.

‘When we tell you to do something, you do it. You understand? Not what you want, what we tell you. You’re a little f-ing confused,’ one officer is heard to say.

Hill later commented on the incident, saying he ‘didn’t want to bring race into it,’ but ‘what if I wasn’t Tyreek Hill? Lord knows what that guy or guys would have done.’ Miami-Dade police, meanwhile, have confirmed that one officer has been placed on administrative leave while an investigation is carried out.
