🚨 Are you significant❓ The Principle is a 2014 American independent film produced by Rick DeLano and Robert Sungenis. It rejects the Copernican principle and supports the long-superseded notion and pseudoscientific principle that Earth is at the center of the universe. The film is narrated by Kate Mulgrew and features scientists such as Lawrence M. Krauss and Michio Kaku. Mulgrew and scientists who were interviewed in the film have repudiated the ideas advocated in the film and stated that their involvement was the result of being misled by the filmmaker.

▸ Kate Mulgrew and others were unaware of the "geocentricism" being pushed by this documentary. She was a voice for hire, never told the full documentary purpose and her lines did not indicate the film's true purpose. Having found out later the controversy surrounding her participation, she has denied geocentrism and stated she never would have participated had she known that was the purpose or that Robert Sungenis was involved, another fact she was unaware of at the time.

▸ The video the producers posted rebutting the charge that they misled the scientists and narrator of this movie confirms that they did indeed keep the participants in the dark as to the true purpose of the documentary. It shows that the contract signed by physicist Lawrence Krauss was carefully worded to avoid any mention of geocentrism, either directly or indirectly, merely stating that the documentary would cover various theories and controversies concerning cosmology. There are indeed plenty of scientific theories--mainstream and controversial--in the field of cosmology, and Professor Krauss has contributed his viewpoint to more than a few science documentaries covering them, but geocentrism isn't one of them. As the producers were no doubt banking on, Professor Krauss would not have even considered the possibility that this vague catch-all language in his contract masked their purpose of promoting the long-debunked scientific claim of geocentrism. THE PRINCIPLE does a great job in reintroducing the geocentric model as not only a legitimate one but one demonstrated by recent sky-mapping technology--much to the chagrin of cosmologists. What is tragic is when scientists, even when presented with evidence challenging their scientific dogma, continue to cling to their dogma and simply deny the evidence. Lawrence Kraus says, "It only looks like the Earth is in a special place in the universe. But it isn't." Because it can't be, right? That would fly in the face of the atheistic view of the universe that only "legitimate" cosmologists adhere to.
