Harry Langdon, Betty Blythe, Esther Muir, and others in the cast had been stars in silent films. It was Gig Young's film debut, under his real name Byron Barr.

SYNOPSIS
"Misbehaving Husbands" is a 1940 comedy film directed by William Beaudine. The film centers on Henry Butler, a devoted husband who gets into trouble when he is innocently caught in a compromising situation. His wife, Effie, upon seeing a photograph of Henry with a young woman, jumps to conclusions and believes he is unfaithful. This misunderstanding leads to a series of comedic events as Henry tries to prove his innocence and win back his wife's trust, all while dealing with the antics of his friends and the chaos that ensues.
