Is Himax Technologies Stock (HIMX) a Good Stock to Buy Now?

Today, in this [Is Himax Technologies Stock (HIMX) a Good Stock to Buy Now?] video , we're going to be discussing and doing a quick take on HIMX, a semiconductor company based in Taiwan. It recently caught my attention as having a potentially good swing trading setup. Now, before I dive into the details, I want to mention that we typically stay away from Chinese companies due to the risk of a possible takeover of Taiwan by China. However, as this is a Taiwanese company and given the current semiconductor market, I thought it was worth taking a closer look.

Upon further analysis, I found that HIMX is a profitable semiconductor company with a decent PE ratio and manageable debt. It is also an optionable stock with a decent float. Looking at their portfolio, we can see that they specialize in image processing, driver integrated circuits, and display and timing controllers, among other products.

Their financials look attractive, with increasing earnings and EPS in recent quarters. They also surprised positively on their last earnings report, which is always a good sign. However, if we take a look at the charts, we can see that the stock has been bouncing around and is currently close to its bottom.
