Introduction to the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-2)

Pastor Brad Reaves introduces this new sermon series on Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. He covers Matthew 5:1-3 and the importance of this sermon. The Old Testament ends with a curse, but Jesus begins this sermon with a blessing. But is Jesus' purpose to teach us to pursue happiness (in the world)? Clearly, we will learn that happiness comes from a relationship with God through Jesus.
