Typhoon Yagi battered Vietnam over the weekend. Bridges were felled, chunks of skyscraper fell from the heavens, but drivers over the country made sure that the scooters would be saved. At least 21 people died and over 200 were injured as the super typhoon carved a swath of destruction, but amongst the chaos, an odd display of unity emerged.

Videos of cars driving in unison to block the extreme winds from blowing scooter drivers clean off their scooters have gone viral, showing that the spirit of the Vietnamese community can overcome even the fiercest disasters.
