Canada pressured to conceal names of Nazis who fled persecution after WWII

A non-profit organization plans to sue the Canadian government to prevent the publication of a list naming 900 alleged Nazi war criminals who sought refuge in Canada after WWII. Meanwhile, Canada’s Library and Archives consulted with members of the Ukrainian community about making the list public but excluded Holocaust survivors and scholars from these discussions. Holocaust historian Gideon Greif tells RT that it is scandalous for Ottawa to exclude victims from such an important conversation.

This issue arises following a scandal from last year, when Yaroslav Gunka, a Ukrainian-born member of the Waffen-SS division, received an ovation from President Zelensky and Prime Minister Trudeau in country's Parliament.
