ADJUSTING TO A NEWBORN//

We are home from the hospital now and busy adjusting to our new life with our awesome new-born baby boy Spencer :)

There have been several unforeseen complications though including feeding issues and our French bulldog Piper reacting negatively to Spencer.

We had to take Piper to the vet to be castrated, and he is now on Prozac, too, to calm his behaviour down.

We also visited Gold Coast Private Hospital lactation consultant Heather Lloyd who taught us how to use a supplemental nursing system for Spencer to help him put on weight. A supplemental nursing system uses a tube that allows your baby to receive extra milk while suckling on the breast.
