Erdogan seeks Islamic alliance against Israel

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called for Islamic countries to form an alliance against what he described as Israel’s “growing threat of expansionism.”

His comments followed reports that Israeli troops killed a Turkish-American woman participating in a protest against Israeli settlement expansion in the West Bank.

Erdogan criticized Israel’s actions and warned of potential future aggression towards other regional countries.

He also highlighted Turkey’s efforts to strengthen ties with Egypt and Syria as part of a broader strategy to counter perceived Israeli expansionism, the Times of Israel has reported.
