Cyberpunk 2077 Nomad Ep145 - When "Very Hard" becomes "Too Easy" (No Commentary)

Played the classic Doom games a few days ago and I was wondering why Cyberpunk never really does anything to differentiate it's difficulty levels other than statistic bumps.

Back in the day you played Doom on either Ultra-Violence or Nightmare mode and you'd be facing massively increased numbers of enemies from start to finish. Not only were their numbers through the roof, they were more aggressive and could take more of a beating before going down.

Why couldn't we have kept that going? It should have been a simple matter to populate areas with larger quantities of potential hostiles. Kicking off a firefight against groups like the Tyger Claws, Sixth Street or Maelstrom should have been able to spiral out of control into gigantic district-wide skirmishes when reinforcements inevitably get called in.

And it would have forced players taking a stealth approach to really take their time and figure out their infiltrations carefully.
