Welcome back to Catholic Reboot and before we get started let me say and opening prayer to guide us.

Opening Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father, Creator of all life, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of life. We ask for Your guidance as we discuss the sacredness of the unborn, and for the strength to speak Your truth in love and clarity. Fill our minds with wisdom and our hearts with compassion so that we may defend the most vulnerable with courage. May the Holy Spirit inspire our words and actions, and may Your will be done in all things. We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Walt: Thank you Sharon for opening with a prayer. This episode is titled:
"A Life Given by God: The Ultimate Authority Over Life and Death"
The reason for the title is that ever since Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision in the early 1970’s. Now notice it was at the very same time that Women’s Rights were being pushed. These two were the primary issues to destroy the family. This is a great communistic ploy. Vladimir Lennon wrote in the early 1920’s that a primary objective a communistic state was to use the women and empower the woman. Now why? Because he knew that in order to get to the heart of the family he needed the woman to push back on the men the leaders of the family and in the 1970’s it came to America. Communist Russia had a good 60 years to perfect this model before exporting it to the United States. In Russia, Abortions, Divorce and destruction of the Church were in huge portions. We now see they did exactly the same thing in the US.
Side note: Put where you want…Isn’t it funny how Vladamire Putin is now offering 15,000 rubels to women if they have a child? Russia’s workforce and general census down. If you sow abortion, you reap the loss of citizens. The average house in US has dropped from 1.8 children to 1.66 since 2012. You cannot sustain a nation with that birthrate not to mention the fact that God will punish the US for murdering innocents. As Bill Marr said on national television, Abortion IS murder but we’re okay with it.
What we see in this upcoming election is a huge attention on women who are Pro-Choice which a cute word for Murder. It is “Infanticide” and not choice. But lets discuss the word “Choice”. No Human being and not even the woman whose womb is used to bring life forth has the right to make a decision only God can make. At conception, God infuses a soul into the embryo. It is a gift from God and not a gift from a man and a woman. So we must do a hard stop. But the crafty evil abortionist must give Satan his due a true blood sacrifice and so they start to play between the lines. The use words like woman’s choice, rape and incest and try to pass laws on when a fetus can be aborted. But the hard stop is NEVER! This is how you know this comes from the Devil. They now want to kill the child after birth. That is pure “maternal filicide”. It’s murder. The fact that a huge number of Catholics approve abortion demonstrates the disaster Post Vatican II produced because it wanted to embrace the modern culture and so Christ allows this all to happen. But trust me, when he has had enough there will be great chastisement. People asked what happened to our country? I respond any country that approves the murder of the innocents bring judgement on the their country. Since the passage of Roe v. Wade in 1973, there have been an estimated 63 million abortions in the United States. This number reflects data compiled from various sources, including the CDC and Guttmacher Institute, though reporting can vary by state. It is actually much higher but lets explain how significant that number is
Using several nations. For example:
Italy: 60.36 million
United Kingdom: 67.33 million
France: 67.75 million
Tanzania: 65.50 million
If we look just at the United States:
It would take the combined population of the two most populous states California and Texas to exceed 63 million people.
Looking at it another way, it would take the next five most populous states Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Ohio to reach a cumulative population of approximately 67.61 million people, which is close to 63 million.
In short they have aborted complete countries and over 5 states in the Union. They have done the work of Satan.
Sharon
Well today, we tackle a controversial yet essential topic: abortion and the idea of "a woman's right to choose." This episode is a call to stop the word games and return to a simple yet profound truth: life is given by God, and no one man or woman has the right to take it away.
The Sacredness of Life From the moment of conception, life begins. This belief is rooted in our understanding that at the very moment of conception, God infuses a soul into that life. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, “Before I formed thee in the bowels of thy mother, I knew thee.” This verse reminds us that every life is known by God and has purpose from its very beginning.
The argument often heard today is that abortion is simply a matter of a woman's right to make choices about her own body. But as Catholics, we understand that life does not belong to us; it belongs to God. In Psalm 139:13-14, we read: “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast protected me from my mother’s womb. I will praise thee, for thou art fearfully magnified: wonderful are thy works, and my soul knoweth right well.” These words remind us of that life, from the very start, is sacred and protected by God.
The Flawed Logic of "Choice" Now let’s address the core of the liberal argument: that abortion is justified because it is a woman’s choice. At the heart of this argument lies a disturbing notion that a person has the power to take life based on personal preference. But let’s consider a very simple question: Who other than God has the right to take a life?
When God created life, He alone reserved the authority over it. The Fifth Commandment states plainly: “Thou shalt not kill.” This commandment reflects God’s sovereignty over life and death. As St. Augustine teaches, “God alone is the master of life and death. He alone can permit life to continue or allow it to end.”
Liberals argue that because a woman carries the child, she has the right to decide its fate. But if we accept this logic, why stop at the unborn child? Why not extend that "right" to allow a woman to terminate the life of a spouse or any other person? A life is a life, no matter its stage of development. To say otherwise is to engage in a dangerous moral relativism.
The Value of Every Life Catholic teaching has always affirmed the intrinsic value of every human life. From the unborn child to the elderly, every person is a reflection of God’s image. St. Thomas Aquinas wrote extensively on the sanctity of life, emphasizing that all human life is sacred because it is created by God.
It is essential to recognize that no matter how society tries to spin it, once conception occurs, the life inside the womb is a separate and unique human being with a God-given soul. To end that life is to usurp God's authority and to violate the moral law written in every heart.
My thought is this: How is it that if you kill a pregnant woman, it is a double homicide? How can the law state that it is murder in one case and not the other?
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis 1:27)
“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.” (Psalm 8:4-5)
“Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:4-5)
“When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out, but there is no harm, the one who hit her shall surely be fined, as the woman’s husband shall impose on him, and he shall pay as the judges determine. But if there is harm, then you shall pay life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot…” (Exodus 21:22-24, )
What does this verse tell us? Men shall pay a life for a life! And, this is from Exodus…the beginning of time.
Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.” (Proverbs 31:8,)
These verses tells us that God sanctified this life and ordained it for a distinct purpose. Where would the nations be without this person, this man set aside to speak God’s word?
The Need for Moral Clarity We live in a world where moral relativism has blurred the lines between right and wrong. This is especially true when it comes to issues like abortion. But we must not allow the arguments of modernity to cloud our understanding of truth. It is not about a woman’s right to choose; it is about God’s right to create and sustain life.
If it is permissible to end a life in the womb, where does it stop? If we are truly advocating for human rights, why does that advocacy not extend to the most vulnerable the unborn? As Catholics, we must stand firm in defending life at all stages. Pope St. John Paul II, in his encyclical Evangelium Vitae, reminds us: “The Gospel of life is at the heart of Jesus’ message. Lovingly received day after day by the Church, it is to be preached with dauntless fidelity as ‘good news’ to the people of every age and culture.”
Conclusion As Catholics, our responsibility is to uphold the truth that life is sacred, given by God, and beyond the realm of human authority to destroy. Let’s stop playing word games and acknowledge that life, from conception to natural death, belongs to God alone. Abortion, no matter how it is framed, is a violation of this fundamental truth.
Thank you for joining us today. Let us continue to pray for an end to abortion and for the conversion of hearts so that all may come to recognize the sanctity of life. May God bless you all.
