Woman Pulls a Gun After She Doesn't Get Her McDonald's Cookie

On February 16, 2023 in Florida, officers responded to a McDonald's in reference to an angry customer with a gun. As officers arrived on scene, employees pointed out the suspect in a blue Chevrolet leaving the parking lot. This is body-cam footage of the events that followed.

The mananger on duty provided the following sworn statement, stating that she had been made aware of an upset customer in the drive-thru who beleived she was entitled to a free cookie due to the intial employee not asking her about a rewards program. When the manager made contact with the customer, the woman was yelling and grabbed a black handgun. She inserted a magazine into the gun and racked the slide. She then drove to the front of the restaurant and parked. An employee attempted to lock the front door but the angry woman forced the door open, grabbed the employee, and began to strike him.
