Mason Greenwood is in the process of switching his international allegiance from England to Jamaica in an effort to revive his football career following a controversial period marked by serious legal accusations, which were later dropped. Having made just one appearance for England in 2020, Greenwood is eligible to represent Jamaica, thanks to his paternal grandparents. The Jamaica Football Federation, under new manager Steve McClaren, has initiated the necessary paperwork with the English FA and FIFA, while Greenwood works on obtaining Jamaican citizenship.
