The Courts Will Not Save Us: Examples of Supreme Court Failures in History! (Ep. #0030)

The courts will not save us. Historically, the Supreme Court has failed time and again, making decisions that have harmed countless lives and tarnished our nation's values. Today, I’m highlighting four examples of where the Court got it horribly wrong: Dred Scott (1857) https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/60/393/, Plessy v. Ferguson (1896) https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/163/537/, Buck v. Bell (1927) https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/274/200/, and Korematsu (1944) https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/323/214/.

These cases remind us that we cannot rely on the courts to safeguard our inalienable rights. The power must remain in the hands of the people, and it's our duty to hold our representatives accountable to prevent future judicial missteps. From the legal horrors of "Separate but Equal" to the chilling words "Three generations of imbeciles are enough," these decisions expose the human flaws of the highest court in the land.

Watch as we dive into these landmark cases, reveal the political pressures behind them, and discuss why the courts cannot be our last line of defense. The bottom line: The courts will not save us.

What’s the solution? We need strong, moral leaders in the executive and legislative branches who are dedicated to protecting our rights. We need to be active in government at every level to ensure our future is safeguarded from another generational nightmare.
