They're warning that COVID still poses a significant "threat," but the public isn't interested in boosters anymore.

Why? Probably because of headlines like this one: “Covid vaccines may have helped fuel rise in excess deaths." (Telegraph)

The trust is gone, and it’s not coming back. Good riddance!
