1980 Packers at Lions

Dec. 21, 1980 - Detroit's Gary Danielson completed 17 of 26 passes for 219 yards and a touchdown and the Lions defense was outstanding as the Detroit Lions defeated the Green Bay Packers 24-3 in the season finale for both clubs Sunday. The Lions, who finished 9-7 for their first winning season since 1972, got a big lift from standout defensive end Bubba Baker who sacked quarterback Lynn Dickey three times.
