A North Carolina judge ruled against removing Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name from presidential ballots in the state.

Wake County Superior Court Judge Rebecca Holt denied Kennedy’s request for a temporary restraining order, meaning ballots with his name will be distributed starting Friday.

Kennedy, who suspended his campaign and endorsed Donald Trump, sought to withdraw his name after the We The People party, which nominated him, was officially recognized.

The decision is set to be appealed, with Holt delaying ballot distribution until noon Friday, the Associated Press has reported.
