In today's Daily Echoes of Faith, we reflect on Psalm 121:1-2: "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."

This verse is a powerful reminder of where our true help and strength come from. When we face challenges or feel overwhelmed by life's burdens, we might look to the hills or to our surroundings, wondering where our help will come from. But the Psalmist redirects our focus to the Lord, the Creator of all things. Our help doesn’t come from anything or anyone in this world—it comes from the Lord Himself, who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:1-2 encourages us to look beyond our immediate circumstances and lift our eyes to God, who is our ever-present help. He is the One who holds all power and authority, and nothing is beyond His reach. When we trust in the Lord, we are leaning on the Creator, the ultimate source of all strength and support. This verse invites us to place our confidence in Him, knowing that He is always with us, guiding and protecting us.

Reflect today on the many ways the Lord has been your help in times of need. May this verse inspire you to lift your eyes to Him, trusting that He is the source of your strength and your shield in every situation.
