Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) was created after the WW1. I suspect the Deep State was born out of the CFR. Just my theory.

Bonus Expeditionary Force (BEF) attacked by the DC police and US military forces for demanding their bonus for their WW1 service on July 28, 1932.

The BEF was named after the American Expeditionary Force (AEF) in WW1. Some 40,000 veterans who fought for the AEF showed up in DC demanding their bonus right away, rather than waiting for their birthday in 1945.
