Today marks day 210 of my sobriety journey, and I spent it listening to Ren’s track Kujo Beatdown. Before diving into the music, I reflected on how close I am to hitting seven months of sobriety—just two days away. This is a huge milestone for me because the last time I got this close, I relapsed. That relapse lasted for two difficult months, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time. Now, though, I’m filled with confidence and pride. I’ve beaten my previous record, and I’m determined to stay on track and reach this seven-month mark without a hitch. Fingers crossed, but I’m feeling really good about it!

As for the music, Ren never disappoints. I’ve been following his journey closely, especially the issues he’s faced with Sick Boy being taken down due to copyright problems. It’s heartbreaking to see such a talented and generous artist go through this, particularly someone like Ren who genuinely heals and inspires so many people. He’s not just an artist—he’s a genius, a healer, and a supporter to those who need it most. It’s sad to see him mistreated, but this track feels like a powerful response, his revenge. I even grabbed my boxing helmet for this Kujo Beatdown because with Ren, you never know when a swing is coming!

The track is raw, emotional, and intense. You can feel Ren’s frustration and anger pouring out in every beat, and I appreciate how he used this song as an outlet to express everything he’s been holding inside. It's a fierce track, and I’m glad Ren has this outlet to fight back against those who try to hold him down.
