Event Description: Join us for the Save Split Oak Forest Coalition’s weekly strategic call, where we unite to organize, plan, and take action in our fight against the proposed Central Florida Expressway toll road through Split Oak Forest. This is a crucial opportunity for both Orange County and Osceola County residents to come together and strategize on how we can protect this vital conservation area.

What to Expect:

Committee Organization: We will break into committees to assign weekly tasks and roles to ensure effective coordination and progress.

Strategic Planning: Discuss and develop strategies for upcoming county commission public comment opportunities, including crafting impactful statements and organizing public speaking opportunities.

Awareness Campaigns: Plan and execute flyers, town halls, and other awareness events to highlight the threats facing Split Oak Forest, one of the most legally protected and biodiverse areas in Florida.

Action Items: Review and assign tasks related to spreading awareness, engaging with the community, and supporting the campaign’s objectives.
